Tania,

We had an extraordinarily enjoyable time with you as you showed us parts of Provence. We could not have been happier. Being with you was truly a highlight of our trip.

Thank you so much.
We thought you might enjoy a few pictures.

Dear Tania,

It's hard to believe that almost a year has passed since you took us to see the Pont du Gard, Les Baux de Provence, and the olive mill. Even though it's been such a long time, I wanted to tell you that it was my favorite day of our entire trip to Europe. I'm so glad you suggested the visit to the olive mill - it was a highlight for all of us.

We hope to do a more extensive tour of France someday. down the shipI don't know if you will still be in the tour business by then, but if you are, we'd love to have you as our guide. Best wishes to you always.

Sincerely,

Janet D.

Tania is a top notch guide and speaks very fluent English. She showed us a wonderful time in the beautiful countryside of Provence where we visited three unique towns and villages. We also enjoyed the stop at the local olive vineyard where we got to see first hand how olive oil is made and packaged. I would highly recommend Provence Tours and Tania to anyone visiting this region of France.

We just wanted to once again say how much we enjoyed not only your tour, but your company when we visited Provence with you.

For Marseille and the surrounding countryside of Provence you would be hard pressed to find a better driver/guide than Tania of Provence Tours (http://provencetours.free.fr or provencetours@free.fr). Notice I say driver/guide; this is because she not only drives you in a comfortable mini-van that can take up to 6 people, she has a great wealth of knowledge about the region’s history and culture. She took us to the former Roman city and later one of Vincent Van Gogh’s favourite haunts,Arles, the castle and town of Tarascon, scenic and medieval Les Baux de Provence, and the great ruins of Abbaye de Montmajour. For each place Tania would show us important sights and give interesting information and, if there was time, allow us to run around on our own. Instinctively she seemed to know when we needed to be guided and when it was more suitable to just discover on our own. We found her very friendly, fun, flexible (she included what we were looking for), and her English was excellent. Perhaps best of all are her reasonable rates. If your ship docks at Marseille and you don’t want to try seeing the region on your own, then have a look at her website. We highly recommend her.
